Service Guarantees, Product Warranties & Consumer Rights

Your Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The warranties and guarantees below are in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Service Delivery Guarantees

Gold Standard: 14-Day Dispatch Guarantee

We value your operational readiness. From the moment your order is paid for, we will dispatch or install your evacuation diagrams and emergency procedures manuals within 14 calendar days.

Refund Policy

If we fail to meet this 14-day window due to issues within our control, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund of the order value, OR
  • A credit of the same value placed on your account toward your next purchase (at the discretion of Compliance Ready)

Site Access Clause

For works requiring site visits, access must be made available within 2 business days of our request. Failure to provide timely access renders the 14-day refund policy null and void.

Exclusions: Issues beyond our control (including third-party shipping delays, client-side data delays, force majeure events, or unavailable site access) void this guarantee.

Priority Service

Platinum Service: 48-Hour Delivery

For high-priority operations requiring mission-critical speed, our Platinum Service delivers digital works (evacuation diagrams, emergency procedures manuals) within 48 hours from paymentduring standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm AEST).

The Guarantee

If we fail to meet the 48-hour delivery window due to issues within our control, you are entitled to a full refund or credit of the same value toward your next purchase.

Exclusions: This guarantee does not apply to client delays, unavailable site access, physical installation works, or items beyond our control.

Product Warranties

6-Month Technical Compliance Warranty

We warrant all technical work conducted by our team for a period of six (6) months from the date of delivery. We guarantee full compliance with AS3745-2010 (Emergency Planning for Facilities) and AS4083-2010 (Healthcare Facilities).

Coverage

If a regulatory auditor or building certifier identifies a technical non-compliance or error in our work during this six-month period, we will provide corrected replacements at no cost to you.

Warranty Void Conditions

  • Client-requested changes or modifications to diagrams after delivery
  • Inaccurate information provided by the client during the audit or data collection phase
  • Building modifications, renovations, or tenancy changes made after our audit was completed
  • Damage caused by installation not performed by Compliance Ready

High-Value Media Protocol (Alupanel & Perspex)

For evacuation diagrams ordered on premium media — specifically Alupanel or Perspex — the following mandatory quality assurance (QA) process applies:

Mandatory Client QA & Sign-Off

You must review and formally approve the final diagram layout, orientation, and content before we proceed to printing. No printing will commence without your written or electronic sign-off.

Limited Warranty After Sign-Off

Once you have signed off and printing has commenced, no warranty is offered on Alupanel or Perspex items except for:

  • Faulty workmanship (manufacturing defects, delamination, or print quality failures)
  • Material defects (warping, cracking, or discoloration not caused by external factors)

Responsibility for diagram accuracy shifts to you upon approval.

Physical Product Warranty

All physical products (signage, diagrams, mounting hardware) are covered by a 12-month warrantyagainst manufacturing defects and material failures under normal use.

Exclusions

  • Damage from improper installation (unless installed by Compliance Ready)
  • Normal wear and tear, fading due to UV exposure, or environmental degradation
  • Vandalism, accidents, or misuse
  • Products modified or altered by the client or third parties

Limitations of Liability

Professional Services

Our liability for professional services (consultancy, training, audits) is limited to the value of the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or regulatory penalties.

Reliance on Client Information

Compliance Ready will not be held responsible for errors or non-compliance arising from:

  • Inaccurate data, floor plans, or building information provided by the client
  • Building modifications, renovations, or occupancy changes made after our audit was completed
  • Client failure to implement recommendations or maintain compliance over time

Client QA Liability Shift

If you specifically request to review and approve diagrams or documentation before finalization, and you provide approval, our technical warranty for accuracy is null and void(excluding manufacturing defects). Responsibility for content accuracy transfers to you upon your approval.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the ACL applies, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, including (at our option) replacement of goods, re-supply of services, or refund of the purchase price.

To make a warranty claim or request a service remedy, please contact us with:

  • Your original invoice or order reference number
  • A description of the issue or defect
  • Photos or evidence of the problem (where applicable)
  • Date of delivery or service completion
